				 In
the late Sixties and early Seventies in Asbury Park the local
teenagers would drive up and down Kingsley and Ocean Avenue on a
Saturday Night looking for a good time and to check out girls or
be checked out themselves. Along the way there were clubs such
as the Fast Lane or the Student Prince where you could stop by
and see the local musicians, like Billy Chinnock, Southside
Johnny, and the wiz himself, Bruce Springsteen, jam until the
				sun came up.

						The streets were better
known as The Circuit and have been immortalized in
Bruce's song "4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)". But The
Circuit is also the name of Greasy Lake's community
where Springsteen fans from all over the world gather to
not only discuss their favorite artist, but also to talk
about just about anything else, from politics and
current world events, to sports, music, or their
personal lives. And perhaps to check out that guy or
						girl...
